DMCA Policy

Welcome to Cookout Menu!

This DMCA Policy explains how we handle claims of copyright infringement on our website at https://cookoutmenu.us.com.

We respect the rights of copyright owners and take copyright protection seriously. This page follows the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) of 1998. It tells you how to report material on our site that you believe infringes your copyright and how we respond.

1. What is the DMCA?

The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) is a U.S. law that helps copyright owners protect their work online. It allows owners to request the removal of content that uses their work without permission.

We respond quickly to valid DMCA notices that meet the legal requirements. This DMCA Policy applies to the entire Cookout Menu website and any related services.

2. Our Commitment Under the DMCA

Protecting intellectual property is important to us. We ask everyone who uses Cookout Menu to do the same.

It is our policy to act promptly on clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that follow the DMCA rules. You can find the full text of the DMCA on the U.S. Copyright Office website.

If we receive a valid notice, we may remove or disable access to the reported material. We also make a good-faith effort to notify the person who posted the content.

3. Before You Submit a DMCA Notice

If you are not sure whether the material actually infringes your copyright, consider speaking with a lawyer first.

A DMCA notice requires you to share your personal information. Make sure you are comfortable with that before sending a notice.

4. How to Submit a Copyright Infringement Notice

If you are the copyright owner (or authorized to act on their behalf) and believe material on Cookout Menu infringes your copyright, please send us a written DMCA Notice.

Your notice must include all of the following:

  • Your full legal name and contact information (email and phone number)
  • A clear description of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed
  • The exact URL(s) on our website where the allegedly infringing material appears
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not allowed by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  • A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
  • Your physical or electronic signature

Send your completed DMCA notice to our designated contact (see the Contact section below).

We review every notice for accuracy and completeness. If it meets the DMCA requirements, we will take appropriate action, which may include removing or restricting the content.

Note: We reserve the right to take no action if a notice does not fully meet DMCA standards.

5. What Happens After We Receive Your Notice

If we remove or restrict access to content based on a valid DMCA notice, we will try to contact the user who posted the material and provide them with information about the removal.

This process does not limit any other legal remedies we may have.

6. Counter Notice (If Your Content Was Removed)

If your content was removed because of a DMCA notice and you believe it was removed in error, you may submit a Counter Notice.

A valid counter notice must include:

  • Your full legal name and contact information
  • Identification of the material that was removed and its original location (URL)
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed due to a mistake or misidentification
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district and will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice
  • Your physical or electronic signature

We will forward the counter notice to the original complainant. If we do not receive notice of a lawsuit within 10–14 business days, we may restore the content.

7. Repeat Infringers

We reserve the right to terminate accounts or block users who repeatedly post infringing material.

8. Changes to This DMCA Policy

We may update this DMCA Policy at any time. When we make changes, we will post the new version on this page with the updated date. Your continued use of Cookout Menu after changes means you accept the updated policy.
